Okay, after putting together my list, I debated whether I'd actually post it.  It's rather embarrassing when you look at this list and there are so few marked as ones I've read.  In fairness, there are some on this list that I picked up and started reading but couldn't get into so I set them aside and/or gave them to my sister-in-law or to DI.

But if you look at my Goodreads shelf you'll see a ton of YA books.  They're just not on this list.

What's your favorite from this list?  Your favorite not on this list?  What ones should I absolutely try to get my hands on?

  1. What an awesome list! Everybody I know loved The Book Thief. But, quite honestly, *hangs head* I just couldn't get into it and ended up shelving it, one of the few books I've ever dropped.

  2. I'm always looking for good books to read, so I love lists. I'll take a peek at it and see if I'm brave enough to post it. Now if you added MG to the list, I'd look a lot better. ;) I couldn't really get into The Book Thief either. It's one of those I keep thinking I'll try again. We'll see.
