Footloose and Fancy-free Friday Week 4

Have I really done four of these posts?  Where does time go?  My birthday and Christmas will soon be upon me.  I'll be turning 25.  It makes me feel old.

School starts in 47 days.  I think I counted that correctly.  I'd really hoped to have Oracles Promise done by the end of November.  Now my goal is just to get it done before school begins so I can work on edits if I ever have any down time while I'm on campus.  I would like to try to revise this book.  I've lived with it so long it breaks my heart to think that it won't get published.

I also want to finish Lodestar at some point.  I was excited by the concept at one point.  Hopefully I can find that enjoyment again once I've finished the draft of Oracles Promise.

There are several story ideas floating through my brain.  I have all 3 books of the Sunstone Saga (of which Oracles Promise is the first), Lodestar, a follow-up to Sunstone and a follow-up to Lodestar.  Plus another trilogy or maybe just duology with an entirely different fantasy world to build and inhabit before I can begin it.

I wish I had a magic wand to wave so that the first drafts of some of these were finished so I had a little more room in my brain.  Sigh.

I'll be on blogging hiatus next week.  It's the holiday week and I'll be busy.  I may try for a very short WiP Wednesday, but I don't know if it'll happen.  I'll see you all on the last day of the month!
