Tantalus Tuesday October

Well, it's that time again.  I put it off till the end of the month in hopes I'd be finished with one of my projects.  Since that's not going to happen, you'll be getting a snippet from the early parts of Lodestar this time.  Hopefully come November, I'll have something from the end of a project to tease you with.

That said, this month's teaser follows below.

*redacted*

OK, that's it for this month!  Join us next month for another titilating round of Tantalus Tuesday!

  1. This is nice, but if you're going for deep POV, that's not it. There's no way for the POV character to know what the others experience. However, maybe that's not what you were going for. Just thought I'd mention it.

  6. Ooh, I'm liking the purple. Of course it's my favorite color, so I'm biased.

Thanks for the teaser. I have to watch myself on slipping out of deep POV too. Lynnette keeps me in check. :) Are you doing deep POV or 3rd omniscient?

  8. Thanks, Roni. I'm definitely 3rd omniscient. There's too much that I need readers to see that my MC isn't privy to. Which is why I think this paragraph works for now. We'll see what happens down the road. Glad you enjoyed the teaser. (And the purple.)

Thanks, Jill! Glad you enjoyed it.
