Footloose and Fancy-free Friday 10/1

It's only October?  It feels as though we should be in November by now.

My random for the day:

1- My fridge reeks of onions and shallots at the moment.  Must remember to throw those out and open the windows to air out the apartment.

2- I had to take my practical in class yesterday.  Was not ready for it.  But nailed it so I'm glad it's over.  Now I just have to do the homework project and study for the written final held next Tuesday.

3- Today's goal is to write two chapters in my book.  And then write two tomorrow.  And two on Sunday. This way I can feel less guilty that my writing time disappears during the week.

4- My television viewing has been woeful of late.  I work and I have homework and other obligations that pull me from home.  And I can only record one program (unless the two programs are back to back and on the same channel) at a time.  Gasp!  Thank goodness for the weekends when I have a bit more time and for the internet.

Have a good weekend everyone!

  2. Wow! Two chapters a day? Sounds like a great goal, but I don't think I'd be able to do that. You have a great weekend too!

  3. There is no way I could set goals like that. Sometimes I'll write three thousand words in one sitting. Other times I'll write a few hundred, spending most of my time editing. As soon as I set goals, I freeze. Funny.

  5. Two chapters a day is awesome -- and a very good idea for those of us who have trouble finding time to write during the week. Hope your weekend was terrific!

  6. Hi Cutie! Thanks for visiting my blog! Such great goals, hooray for you! Right now I'm not doing any writing. Just editing. I edit for as long as I can in the amount I can while my kids are either in bed and while they are at school--half day.

:o) Happy Monday! Good luck in your classes.
