Let's talk! and Tantalus Tuesday

OK, today is the Let's Talk blogfest, hosted by the lovely Roni of Fiction Groupie fame.

There are a whole bunch of people participating.  The full list of participants can be found here at the original post announcing the fest.

I decided to take the plunge.  This is my favorite bit of dialogue from some of the early parts of Lodestar.  Hope you enjoy it.  And be sure to check out the others as I'm sure they're all posting uber-fabulous writings.  Humor, tension, romance, suspense, and a slew of other emotions abound in today's fest.

Without further ado, I present my dialogue.

Well, there you have it.  Now go check out the others' posts!  I know I will!

And that also concludes this month's edition of Tantalus Tuesday.  Stay tuned next month when I'll, fingers crossed, have finished Lodestar.

  1. GOOD stuff. I especially like your descriptions between dialogue here: "Just making conversation." Forster switched gears with the ease of oil floating over water. "FSU fencing club?" Her left eyebrow reached for her hairline.

  3. Yeah, he explains that comment in the next little bit, but I didn't feel like that part of it really sparkled so I left it off. He did both, archery and fencing. Crazy I know, but he was a dedicated kid.
