WiP Wednesday 3/24

I re-plotted and outlined Lodestar at long last!  Wahoo!

I've done a bit of research for the other project, but I've not really been focusing on it.

Other Lodestar news is that the chapter breaks have been inserted, the section that was in the middle of what I'd written has been moved to the prologue position, and I'm ready to move forward.

It's been a bit of a crazy week for me and it's only going to get crazier.  But it's a good sort of crazy.  I do hope to have more progress to report next week, but things are looking good for this project and I really feel like this manuscript is one I can carry through revisions and still be happy with.  And that's a good feeling to have.

How are your WIPs going?

  1. Great progress! I wish I had something good to report, but I've been procrastinating all week. Today's been better, though, so I can't complain.

  2. The ability to re-plot always impresses me... normally I just move on to something else.

  3. I finally feel like I'm moving forward at a reasonable pace with my WIP. Replotting is a pain in the neck. (I just had an image of a gardener, repotting a plant. They are probably pretty similar.)

  4. Susan, but procrastination is so much fun! I especially love its side effects of guilt, fear, irrationality, and achiness in whatever limb used for procrastination activities. Best of luck with everything this week!

Bane, it was a bit of a task, I'll admit. And I didn't jump joyfully into the re-plotting waters. But the idea was too new and exciting for me to abandon it yet.

Kayeleen, Good for you! I wish I were in the same boat. I should be able to write later tonight. But while the light is good I need to go shooting. As for the gardening analogy, I think someone who knows about gardening would be better suited to determining whether the two are similar. I could kill a plant with a glance.
