WiP Wednesdays 8/19

So, I wrote a lot last week until around Sunday when I decided to abandon my 2k minimum daily word count. Wrote 16 words on Sunday and not a drop on Monday or Tuesday. I will be better today though.

But the exciting news to report on my WiP is that I've now come up with a title for book one of the Sunstone Trilogy.

Drumroll please.

Oracle's Promise

That is the title. Very tentative, I'm sure, but I really like it. It's a bit ambiguous and I like it more than the other title option I came up with. But until last Friday when I came up with the title, the book was only known as Sunstone book 1. Which was rather lame. It feels so exciting to have a title now.

  2. Great title. I always find it comforting to have a title in place. I hate writing and calling the book something generic.

  4. Thanks! I'm glad you all like the title. I was so excited when it hit me the other day. I think titles are those things that you either get struck with right from the start or they emerge as the book evolves.

  5. I like the title, too.

    and, regarding your side question:

I didn't take a course, I kind of landed into it by working 7 years in the insurance industry. I got to know all the codes on that end so it was an easy flip to come over to the physician side. I have friends who took the course and were very happy with it. You can't start working from home w/out the course but you can get a job in a doctors office and get 'on the job' training and then take that experience to your onw home business after a few years. It has been a good fit for me.

  6. Thanks, Tess and Anna.

Tess, that's interesting. Thanks for responding. It's one of those things that you'd never know about unless you asked someone.
