I'm worried about the direction my blog has taken with recent posts. And with the posts I've got planned for the coming weeks. You tell me, is this becoming boring? What do you want to see out of here? Do I post too often?
I enjoy your posts. They always make me think. Just like the previous one about social networking. It's something that has been on my mind a lot lately so I can relate. I think your blog is great!
What kind of blog posts do you have planned for the upcoming weeks? If you're struggling for material or direction for your blog, try visiting blogs of other people you like, and see what they're doing, and make note of why you like their blogs. I wasn't sure of the direction to go in with my blog when I first started it, but over time, I think you will develop a better sense of where you want to be.
Some ideas might be: reviewing fantasy books you like, sharing bits and pieces of your writing projects, having weekly discussion topics, posts related to your favorite authors, fantasy-related literary news, marketing and publishing, writing resources, etc. These are just some ideas off the top of my head. Hope that helps.
Thanks! I've got one on novellas, one on book to film, MFA programs, critique groups, plus my regular features of goals updates and author's bookshelf.

ReplyDeleteYou're sweet. Thanks a ton!
ReplyDeleteAs Lazy Writer mentioned—your posts are thought provoking. And to answer your questions: Not at all! I like what you are doing here. And no.
ReplyDeleteThank a bunch!
