Location in Barnes and Noble: Teen Fiction
Why I read it:
A) It's the genre I'm writing so it's always good to see what's out there being written that people are interested in.
B) It's roughly the age group I think will be interested in my own novels.
C) I need to re-read it and Eldest in order to read the third in the series, Brisingr.
Mini-review:
I am going to pass on giving any sort of commentary because I don't want to give any sort of wrong impression here.
Final review: Thumbs up-ish. Read it if you feel so inclined.

ReplyDeleteThat's so great to hear that you're feeling better! Eragon is a good book for the most part. It reads pretty rough, to my mind anyways, but I do think it has a pretty compelling story. There's going to be a fourth book so it's a very involved story. The second and third books aren't thin little volumes. If you're into fantasy and YA fiction, then sure, read it. But if fantasy isn't your thing you'll probably want to take a pass.
