Glad your characters are working out for you!

Windy, LOL. I think that topics ebb and flow. There's definitely a current of writerly conversation. I really notice it a lot with certain topics. I just read a book, that was good, but which I had a hard time getting into because none of the characters were quite doing it for me, and I think that's just me. Someone else would probably pick this up, and think the characters were great.Alissa Grossohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16701189791875707920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2287168903003077619.post-48948571288914635202010-01-19T12:50:00.270-07:002010-01-19T12:50:00.270-07:00So true, if you have no attachment to a character,...So true, if you have no attachment to a character, why keep reading? If nothing happens, what's the point in reading about them, even if we like them? The reader has to care about the character and connect enough to care what happens.

So I'm working through that right now!Windyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07684298115679477705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2287168903003077619.post-68883535245581552062010-01-19T08:02:23.221-07:002010-01-19T08:02:23.221-07:00Great post! Not so!

So, I switched gears and started focusing on my characters' internal conflict and my plot is much stronger for it.
